Assembled at Kariega since 2010, the popular Polo Vivo builds on the spirit of the venerable Citi Golf by harnessing the strengths of the fifth-generation Polo to create a compelling entry-level package aimed at the value-focused South African market. In 2024, close to 26,000 Polo Vivos found homes in Mzansi, this VW regularly claiming top spot on this market’s monthly sales charts.

Introduced to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the modern Polo Vivo package, a carefully curated new Edition 15 derivative is now available to order.

Limited to just 1,500 units, the new Polo Vivo Edition 15 is available with striking Crystal Ice Blue or Deep Black Pearl exterior paint finish and includes 15-inch Ubomi alloy wheels. Together with bespoke decals on the bonnet, side sills and rear window, this package introduces a black roof and side mirrors, branded scuff plates, and a dark-tinted exhaust tailpipe.

Priced at R8 500 incl. VAT, the Edition 15 package can be ordered on the two Polo Vivo Life derivatives, including the 1.4-litre model that is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, and the 77 kW 1.6-litre petrol engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
