Engine oil can only protect your engine properly when the filling level is between the minimum and maximum marker. That’s why you should check the oil level on a regular basis. Our short explainer video demonstrates how to measure it.

Warning and indicator lamps: Engine oil

Time for an oil change?  

Regular oil changes help to reduce engine wear and therefore increase your engine’s service life. Your Volkswagen Dealer will gladly take care of it for you. They’ll also replace the oil filter if necessary.
