With our all-season tyres, you can forego a tyre change and a second set of tyres. Learn about the benefits.
Tyre Check
Tyre Check
All-season tyres allow you to stay mobile in virtually any weather. With our Tyre Check, we make sure that your tyres are in good condition. We inspect the tread and tyre pressure. Trust in our extensive experience in recognising signs of wear and defects.
All-weather tyres combine effectively balanced properties for both summer and winter weather conditions. Experience the great running properties for yourself, in almost any weather and surface condition.
Our complete wheels are not only visually and technically tailored to your vehicle, they also stand out thanks to a precision-fit wheel/tyre combination. You’ll benefit from high safety, modern design and high quality standards.
Manufacturer names such as “All weather” or “All season”, as well as special weather symbols (a snowflake, leaf, sun and raindrop) on the tyre sidewall, indicate that the tyres are suitable for all seasons.
Thanks to their modern tread, all-season tyres are generally suited to all seasons. Nevertheless, you should still keep one thing in mind: All-season tyres are a compromise – they combine features of summer and winter tyres. However, given their qualities, they are generally inferior to summer/winter tyres when it comes to driving performance. The trade-off in design: Either winter performance or wet weather performance is improved at the expense of the other discipline.
How long all-weather tyres last depends on numerous factors, such as driving style or tyre age. With average use, the tyres can be used for up to 50,000 km. In general, the following applies: The maximum service life of tyres depends on the type of tyre. You should replace your all-season tyres after approximately six to eight years – or earlier if they are damaged or their tread is worn down.
Is your braking distance longer than normal or do you often slip on wet roads? Then it’s definitely time. Check your tread depth on a regular basis: We recommend a minimum tread depth of 4 mm. To read about how to measure tread depth, consult our page on Wheel knowledge.
Useful Information About Wheels
Do you want to know how the tread depth of your tyres is measured or why the right tyre pressure is so important? On our information page, you’ll find the answers to these and many more questions as well as more content about wheels, tyres, rims and co.
We have provided a visualisation of different braking distances on a wet road for a vehicle with winter tyres compared to one fitted with summer tyres. As you can see: Greater traction means a shorter braking distance and reduced risk of an accident.
