This policy ensures that your monthly vehicle instalments are taken care off (fully or in part) in the following circumstances

Death or Permanent Disability
This benefit will pay out the outstanding amount on your finance agreement.
Temporary Disability
This benefit will pay an amount equal to your monthly vehicle instalments for the period you are temporarily disabled.
Dread Disease
This benefit will pay out what you still owe on your finance agreement once a conclusive diagnosis of the dread disease has been made.
Loss of Income
This benefit will pay your monthly vehicle instalments for a maximum period of 3 months when you are involuntarily retrenched.
Financial Crisis Benefit
An optional benefit that will pay 3 times your vehicle instalment amount in the event of the death of a spouse, incubation on the birth of a child, hospitalisation or being booked of work for more than 6 weeks.

You deserve a new Volkswagen if yours is written off or stolen – even if you still owe money on your finance plan. Shortfall Plus covers you in the event of a total loss of your car.
Our Shortfall Plus policy protects you if your outstanding loan amount is higher than your car’s value when it is stolen and not recovered or damaged beyond economical repair. This is a standalone policy that is purchased in addition to a Volkswagen Comprehensive Insurance policy.
Why choose Shortfall Plus?
Your car’s value depreciates over time, and a comprehensive insurance policy will only pay out the value at the time of loss. This means you might have to finance the shortfall.
Policy benefits
Shortfall Cover:
This benefit provides cover if your car is a total loss due to theft, hi-jacking or accidental damage and the outstanding loan balance is more than your car’s value at time of loss.
Violation of Conditions Cover:
This benefit provides cover if your insurance company rejects your claim because you unintentionally failed to abide by policy conditions.
Bodyline Maintenance Cover:
This optional benefit provides cover in the event of minor damages such as dents or scratches to your car.
Loyalty Bonus:
This benefit provides cover that if your car is stolen and not recovered or damaged beyond economical repair, we will pay a fixed amount of R5 000 towards your new Volkswagen if you replace your car within three months from an approved Volkswagen dealer.
Personal Accident:
This benefit provides cover if anyone dies or is permanently injured or disabled while travelling in the car that is insured against this policy.

If your car is written off or stolen, often the comprehensive insurance pay out may not be enough to cover the deposit you would have paid. This policy makes sure that you get your deposit back. This standalone policy may be purchased in addition to a Volkswagen Comprehensive policy.
Policy benefit
We will pay the deposit you paid when you purchased your car if it is stolen and not recovered or damaged beyond economical repair and written off.
To qualify for Deposit Protector, you must comprehensively insure your vehicle for its full market value.

The Volkswagen Retrenchment Policy takes care of your monthly vehicle instalments if you are involuntarily retrenched, allowing you to focus on finding alternative employment instead.
Policy Benefits
Our Retrenchment Policy will cover your monthly car payment for a maximum period of six months after you are involuntarily retrenched for the first time. We will then pay an additional three months’ worth of instalments if you are involuntarily retrenched for a second time. The policy will cover a maximum of nine months' payments.
The policy benefits will stop as soon as you become employed again, or when you have reached the maximum benefit period of nine months.

A new vehicle typically depreciates up to 25% in the first year, and up to a further 12% in years two and three. This means your car can be worth half its original value by the time it is just three years old. If your vehicle is hijacked, stolen and not recovered, or written off during the period of insurance, this policy protects you from the effects of such deprecation.
Policy benefits
This policy will pay the difference between your car’s original purchase price and its market value at the date of loss if it is hijacked, stolen and not recovered, or written off during the period of insurance.
This standalone, independent policy may be purchased in addition to a Volkswagen Comprehensive Insurance policy.

The Volkswagen Warranty plan is a comprehensive Mechanical Breakdown Warranty plan that covers the repair costs of a mechanical breakdown. This plan includes a Motorite assist and a medical and roadside assistance programme.

As often small chips, scratches and dents are overlooked as clients don’t want to claim on their Comprehensive Insurance policy to avoid paying the excess of losing their No claim bonus.

This policy will provide the ease of transport and keep you mobile when your car is in for a service, repairs or a breakdown.
Policy Benefits
This policy will provide you with 21 days car hire if your car has been hijacked or stolen, or involved in an accident and is badly damaged or written off.
This policy will provide you with 7 days car hire if your car if off the road due to mechanical breakdown.
This policy will provide you with 2 days car hire per annum if your car is in for a service.
