Volkswagen CC Safety
The Volkswagen CC offers you outstanding safety benefits. The passive safety concept includes a passenger cell with high torsional rigidity. This means that the vehicle body can absorb a large part of the impact energy in an accident. In addition, deformation zones at the front and rear of the vehicle reduce the risk of injury.
For the safety of very young passengers, ISOFIX securing brackets are fitted standard behind the head restraints to enable child seats to be locked in securely. The active safety features include carefully matched running gear with a suspension strut front axle and 4-link rear axle for comfortable and safe travel on both level and uneven surfaces.
Static cornering lights illuminate the road when the vehicle turns. Bi-Xenon headlights with dynamic cornering lighting can also be fitted. At a speed of 15km/h small motors move the Bi-Xenon headlights exactly in line with steering movement. This allows for the driver to avoid possible dangers at an early stage.
Daytime driving lights ensure that you are visible to other road users. These lights switch on automatically when the engine is started. This effective safety concept reduces the risk of accidents and provides even more driving enjoyment.
‘Park Assist’ is a parking assistance system that will help to keep your vehicle’s body safe from scratches in the tightest parking spot: as you drive past a parking space at a speed of up to 30km/h, ultra sound sensors compare the space available with the length of the new Volkswagen CC. If the space is large enough, ‘Park Assist’ takes over the steering for you, allowing for effortless parking.
