Wiper Blades

Wiper blades should be cleaned regularly with window cleaning solution and a soft sponge or cloth. They should be changed once or twice a year.

Changing the wiper blades

To take them off:

  • Hinge the wiper arm up and position the blade horizontally.
  • Press the retaining spring and push the blade towards the screen at the same time.

Securing the new wiper blades:

  • The retaining spring must engage audibly in the wiper arm.
  • When fitting wiper blades with moulded wind deflectors, one should ensure that the deflector is pointing downwards.
