National Rally 2010

South Africa is extremely proud to be the first country in the world to successfully run the S2000 series.
The BP Volkswagen Rally team strode to victory for the fourth consecutive year in 2008 by winning the Overall National Rally Driver and Navigator Championships in an S2000 Polo. Driver Hergen Fekken and navigator Pierre Arries claimed the top positions whilst their team mates swept the winners' podium clean by claiming second and third places in both the Driver and Navigator Championships, putting the BP Volkswagen team on top for yet another year.

In 2009, three S2000 Polo's will be raced by Enzo Kuun, Jan Habig and Hergen Fekken. Their navigators are Guy Hodgson (with Kuun), Douglas Judd (with Habig) and Pierre Arries (with Fekken). Gugu Zulu and navigator Carl Perskin are running in A5 Class of 2009, together with team mates Andre Cleenwerck and navigator Des de Fortier.
