AutoPavilion

The AutoPavilion is a place of cars and legends. Unveiled in March 2004, this R13 million state-of-the-art heritage centre boasts an elite line up of automobiles. It showcases both the history and the most recent developments of the Volkswagen Group and visitors to the AutoPavilion will journey through a unique collection of prototypes, landmark cars and record-holding vehicles.

A highlight of the exhibition is the interactive nature of the exhibits. Ideas are brought to life via video screens, moving features, state-of-the-art light technology and fragrance machines that create a truly sensory experience for the viewer: be it sight, sound, touch or scent.

Not only architecturally unique, the AutoPavilion is also the only automobile discovery centre on the continent and only the fifth on the planet.
